American Village

American Village is a resort-style commercial complex in Mihama, Chatan Town, in the central part of Okinawa's main island. Development began in 1997 on the site of a former US military base and was mostly completed in 2004. Inspired by the American West Coast, it features colorful and pop-art buildings, housing around 200 diverse shops for shopping, dining, and entertainment. With a Ferris wheel on-site and an open seaside location where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, it's a popular spot for sightseeing, dates, and girls' trips.
