Bise no Fukugi Tree Road

Detailed Information
Located in Motobu Town, Okinawa, Bise's Fukugi Tree-lined Path is a windbreak forest of thousands of Fukugi trees stretching for about 1 km. They were planted about 100 years ago to protect the village from typhoons and sea winds. Many of the trees are over 300 years old, and the path, which feels like a green tunnel, evokes a nostalgic Okinawan atmosphere. It's a popular spot for walks and rental cycle tours. You can also enjoy the beautiful ocean views of Bise Cape and Bise Beach. The "Meoto Fukugi" (Couple's Fukugi), two giant trees that lean on each other, is known as a power spot. With cafes and restaurants scattered around, it's a healing place where you can fully enjoy nature and history.
