Mukaiya

Māsan-dokoro Mukaiya is a popular Okinawan soba restaurant located in Taketomi, Itoman City, having relocated from Koza, Okinawa City. A distinctive feature is that you can choose from four types of soup: bonito, pork bone, miso, or salt. You can also select the flavoring for the soft cartilage soki and the sauce for the jīmāmi dōfu (peanut tofu). The popular "Mukaiya Set" is a generous offering that includes Okinawan soba, soft cartilage soki, jūshī (Okinawan mixed rice), salad, jīmāmi dōfu, and tempura, making it a favorite for families.
