Murasaki Mura

Murasaki Mura, officially "Taiken Okoku Murasaki Mura," is an interactive theme park in Yomitan Village, Okinawa, that recreates the townscape of the 15th-century Ryukyu Kingdom. Used as an open set for the NHK historical drama "Ryukyu no Kaze," it features a beautiful landscape of red tiled roofs and cobblestone streets made of Ryukyu limestone. The park offers a wide variety of Okinawan traditional craft experiences, such as Shisa painting, Ryukyu glass-making, glass blowing, pottery, and bingata dyeing. It also provides a range of sports activities like horseback riding, go-karting, and Segway tours. With a semi-natural hot spring and restaurants, it’s a spot where families and tourists can enjoy a full day.
