Its appeal lies in the reasonable price of 90 yen per piece and the wide variety of tempura, including squid, fish, sweet potato, vegetables, and bitter melon (gōya). The batter and seasoning feature a secret technique handed down from the owner's predecessor, resulting in a distinctively fluffy and crispy texture. Zenzai (sweet red bean soup) is also a popular menu item, available both warm and as cold shaved ice (kakigōri) regardless of the season.
